MCD-6422Other Players can consume your Eyes of Ender at the Endportal
I had 5 eyes of ender. When I played with some randoms, They wanted to go to the Stronghold level. Even though They weren't owning the Echoing Void Dlc, they were still able to put eyes of ender in the Endportal consumming my 5 eyes of ender in the proscess. Shouldn't only I be able to put my Eyes of ender in the portal?

Does your Inventory still show 5 Eyes, or zero? Can you collect the remaining eye, put it in the portal, and unlock The End?

I have already unlocked my Endportal in my Map Selection. I got the 5 eyes of ender from another player(I was helping him to collect his eyes of ender) However I collected 5 Eyes of ender from him but I didn't put them in his Endportal, Thats why I had 5. But now my Endeye counter is 0 because some other player put my eyes of ender in their portal.They weren't owning echoing void but they were still able to put eyes of ender in the portal, another bug? I have brought them to the level thats why they were in the stronghold level. But as they interacted with the endportal they put in eyes of ender in the portal that were consumed from my endeye counter.
Version 1.10.3.0 has been released today. Is this still occurring in this version?

In what specific way is the issue still present? Are you unable to collect remaining Eyes of Ender, are you unable to put them in the End Portal, or are other player able to put the Eyes you collected into your End Portal?

I have my endportal already complet. The problem is that if I collect eyes of ender from another persons camp, For example if they make a xbox social post were they need help trying to find the eyes of ender, other people are able to interact with the end portal in the stronghold level and when they interact with the portal any player who has eyes of ender in their inventory, will lose these eyes of ender and these will be put in the portal frame even if they haven't interacted with the portal by themselves. This even works if the player doesn't own the echoing void Dlc, But someone who own it brought them to the level.
For example: Player A has 3 eyes of ender. He plays with Player B who doesn't have the echoing void Dlc. Player A choses the stronghold level and Player B accepts the mission, they both travel to the stronghold. Player B finds the incomplet endportal and interacts with it, this causes player A to lose one eye of ender per endportal interraction, even though he is not interacting with the portal by himself. In theory this doesn't make sense because Player B doesn't own the echoing void Dlc and therefore he can't collect eyes of ender and shouldn't be able to interact with the end portal.
This also works if player B owns the Echoing Void Dlc. The Problem is: If some one has collected eyes of ender and suddently decided, I have collected enough for today and he decides to play with others, if he didn't put the eyes of ender in his portal and he travels in another persons camp to the stronghold, he loses his eyes of ender by others interacting with the portal. Therefore his eyes of ender are gone and he can't unlock his portal anymore because he already killed the endersents and collected the eyes of ender in the levels he already collected them in.
i used this issue to get my primary hero play the echoing void DLC this issue can be helpful
Yeah but it is not fun for the player whos eyes of ender are getting consumed.

However, this issue has been closed as Working As Intended. It is an intentional design that if any any player interacts with the End Portal, then every player automatically deposits their unspent Eyes of Ender into the End Portal, with the number of remaining Eyes of Ender being separate for each player and the progress being kept track of separately for each player.
