Launcher says "Game already running" when there is no game running.
This bug has been happening to me ever since I have played the 1.6.4 update on the new launcher. Now I find when I play 1.12.2 - 1.13.2pre2 I find it closing and I'm not even closing anything. That does not even cause a crash! It just closes my game. I open the launcher again and it says "GAME ALREADY RUNNING" I chose to ignore that message cause I didn't have a game open.
Environment
-Windows 10 HP
-Java 8

Yes. I know you guys only accept reports from the latest version and snapshot. But I love going back to that 2013 feeling. Before prismarine and coral blocks. I just loved the nostalgia... Even brought the 2009 feeling back. By Pre classic all the way to Minecraft Beta 1.9. I'd just like if you guys re add Beta 1.9 back into the launcher. because I heard the end portal frame was changed back then and it either came a Blue solid block. or a blue corrupted cobweb. Even the easter eggs hit me. I realized a snapshot for the 1.8.0 update was actually a trick to be for 1.10.0 update. and it was awesome. Obsidian Boats. love bar. it was cool. Ive never played Minecraft 2.0 either. Lightning bolts coming every 5 minutes to TNT slabs. It was just awesome. I loved the 2013 feeling.

I have no idea how this is happening. This has been happening ever since to me since playing 1.6.4 on the new launcher.
Open up task manager and go to processes. You'll see java running in the background. Click on it and then press "End Process". Then try running minecraft again.
Jonathan Lee, For windows 10 yes. But with windows 7 it says "Minecraft <version>" for example. "Minecraft 1.8.9"
Open task manager and end the task "Java". It should fix the problem.
