When the game loads, it doesn't give me the option to use my hands. I try and pressing the right and left click, but I get nothing. Another thing I notice is the player goes through the ground and flies and there is no interaction between me and the live creatures around me. I can't even land on the ground. He just goes straight through the ground.

I've noticed the same, no response from mouse clicks. MAC OS.
To get back mouse clicks (whilst keeping the game running) I've noticed that if I flip to another window click on something in that window then go back to Minecraft my mouse is now working. I guess the mouse doesn't have focus on the game and therefore the clicks are not getting sent to Minecraft.
Maybe a launcher issue?

What device are you using? Im have a PC and you have to press F1 to get it back. If your using a PC then you might of accidently pressed F1. Ive done it before. Though all you have to do to fix it is press F1.
