Minecraft Launcher About Settings Display my OS as MacOS 10.16.0 when it's MacOS 12 Monterey the 10.x naming ended with Catalina (OS X 10.15) So My OS is being displayed wrong and as Big Sur.

macOS 12 is identified to software as 10.16. This is why this appears as 10.16.0, and why crash reports generated by Minecraft contain the version name 10.16, not 12.x.
As for now, closing the ticket as 'work as intended" - as per comment of the helper.
