my: downloaded mc versions, worlds, resoure packs, mods were deleted. launcher reset in game settings also reset.

You are probably saying that it disappeared from the launcher, but Is there a folder like .minecraft? if so are there any files inside?

you dare think i did not check the files?!
This may be a dumb question, but do you have a way to reproduce this?
nope, just opened minecraft that day and it was all gone
still better than mine: https://bugs.mojang.com/projects/MCL/issues/MCL-21079?filter=allopenissues
my wont even load, but you can atleast buy it again.

mine was worse you can retreve the files i can't.
and i dont have to buy minecraft again it just reset.
