Minecraft launcher Debian package depends on default-jre
The debian package for the Minecraft Java Edition launcher depends on the default-jre package, which is unnecessary for two reasons.
- default-jre is a meta-package which installs openjdk-11-jre. Java 11 is outdated and Minecraft Java Edition needs Java 17.
- Minecraft Launcher installs Java 17 independently as java-runtime-beta and java-runtime-gamma.
This is also inconvenient for users who wish to choose what version of Java is installed system-wide.

Operating System: Debian and Debian-based Linux
