MCL-23014Minecraft launcher ininitely updating
When I open up the launcher, the launcher has the usual pop up window it would have when updating, but it infinitely updates and the launcher itself never opens up. I have waited even longer, about 10 minutes but nothing happened. I restarted myself, reinstalled the launcher, and checked that I had enough storage for any updates and I had well over 30 gb.

Can replicate this issue on Fedora 37.

Have you tried to uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then reinstall, restart your computer?
Also please upload launcher_log file from your .minecraft folder.
