After opening the launcher, an update begins. After finishing, the launcher tries to reopen itself, and fails.
Reinstalling the launcher doesn't work. Neither does reopening multiple times. The report the mac provides is attached as a file.

Hi!
Could you please upload launcher_log.txt file from you minecraft folder?
Please also uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then re-download launcher from minecraft.net and reinstall it, then restart your computer. Then please try to boot the Launcher.
Does the icon bounce at least once when you try to launch it?
Can you please also record a video of the issue?
