on MacOS Sonoma 14.3, during update stage of minecraft launcher game crashes immediately
when opening mc launcher, game shows update screen and attempts to download needed resources, then immediately crashes with no error message or error popup. already tried turning off internet to stop update (this does not work because then Minecraft simply refuses to open), using terminal to skip auto-update (doesn't work because Minecraft then crashes for no reason), deleting .minecraft folder and reinstalling, and restarting computer. none work. pls help
