MCL-6482Launcher crashes with unknown error
Launcher can't launch Minecraft.
The native Log indicates that launcher ends with 0. But launcher indicates it crashed due to an unknown error.
Until I installed Steam and the Steam game "Age of Mythology : Extended Edition", the launcher was healthy. I assume a VC Redist library, installed with AOE, is the cause but can't prove it.

The log doesn't report any error with paths. The extra / is used for all accesses in tmp directory. An error should have been raised if this was a problem, shouldn't it?
What is weird is that there is a extra / between tmp and _tmpJava.zip
Well, I deleted the tmp directory and let the launcher create it, but it still mentions this path with // . That would be a bug in the launcher then, when creating / searching tmp directory.
Does this issue still occur?

AOE and Minecraft have been updated meanwhile, and the problem has disappeared
