New launcher does'nt support modded JARs
ok so after the release of 1.6, the new 'MinecraftDev.exe' launcher became outdated and so i switched to the completed new 'Minecraft.exe' launcher (currently using 1.0.5). i use a modded 1.5.2 JAR, and i had the read-only box ticked on it so it would not get replaced. but the 1.0.5 launcher complained that it did not have access, as it always has, but would not start the game with it. so i removed the read-only property, and it promptly downloaded the vanilla 1.5.2 JAR and deleted all my mods. great. i don't see why it needs to keep JARs synced, because they will never be changed, since updates are released instead. definitely an intended feature, i know, but it is extremely annoying how we can no longer use mods until the plugin api is released. PLEASE remove jar syncing at least until then, possibly forever since, as i already said, old jars will never be modified.
