In my normal survival world,i can hit chickens,but they dont take damage nor the tool used to damage the chicken. Only applyes to all the chickens in my world.

Also,it applyes for 0.5.0 not 0.4.0,the bug tracker does not reconize the vrsokn number 0.5.0

Can't reproduce as described, chickens take damage as expected. If there's some trick to this, please open another ticket complete with steps to reproduce, per the guidelines.
There seems to be no trick to this,there was a random chicken (i guess it walked in) in my mine,so i desided to kill it,but hitting it with a sword or any other tool does nothing,just hits with the sword.
Also,reloading the world/app does nothing,the chicken is in its normal position and cant be damaged.
Hmm, after i revisited the world, i could damage chickens again.
