Possibly the same issue as
MCPE-100100given the explanation of the crash in the comments there as due to Android 8.0 not handling transparent window orientation properly.Thank you for your report!

Is this still an issue in the latest version? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).
