All the villagers in my worlds spawn as tool smiths, even if there are no tool smith blocks in the village. When I go to trade with them, they have different occupations. Tool smith villagers that are actually farmers won't tend to crops but will instead stay glued to the compost box.

I have a different variation of the same glitch. My villagers have the default unemployed texture even though they have a job (I'm also on Nintendo switch version 1.19.20)
