When placing chests or ender chests the chests get destroyed when re-entering the End and all items end up on the floor.
Have not tested with other block but I have tested with creating a water pool in the End and water dispersar (get destroyed) as well upon re-entering the End.
This happens on but also outside of the obsidian platform.
I don't know if it is just luck but once the chest and water start getting destroyed if happenes then every time after that. I did have chests and ender chest in the beginning and re-entered the End several times until the bug happened.

Hi, Yes but the "reset" happens outside of the spawn platform. For me it started to happen after some time and not directly. I had chest and water for a while and there was no problem entering the End. After a while water and chest started to get destroyed. My chests and water were placed between 3 to 6 blocks outside of the spawn point so then it seems like the reset area is increased with time.

What is the seed of the world save please?
Hi, The seed of the map is 942835672 but i don't know how that could help so probably i don't understand what i need to provide, sorry for that.
The exported map is too big to attach here since the limit is only 10Mb.
I've uploaded a world save of the same seed. I will look into it a bit further.

Also if it would be interesting with my save I have no problem providing it but it is 250MB so I would need an ftp area or similar to upload it to.
I'm starting to think that this is a totally different problem and has to do with an super aggressive dragon that is destroying the block with is "push" attack.
I have noticed this from the start when I have entered the End the first time, armored with magic diamond armor and weapons when I entered the End the dragon pushed me off the platform to the abyss within 1-2 second just when i stepped up from the spawning platform.
So I dug a tunnel to a tower with a cristal and up through the obsidian pillar to destroy the cristal. After destroying the cristal the dragon stared to hit med even if he couldn't see me under the ground with his push attack and sometimes even threw me up the air even when I was under the ground, so he pulled me out through solid blocks.
Now whenever I enter the End I just stand still for 1-2 second on the spawning platform, even if the platform is under ground he is starting to hit me with his "push" attacks, without being able to see me. So I repeated this loaded upp with healing potions just to se how often he will hit. And i noticed that he is doing that ever 1-3 seconds apart and destroying block that I put down like a working bench, chest or ender chest.
So right now it is to difficult to destroy the dragon or do anything since there is no way of even entering the End without the dragon attacking within very short time.
I don't know if this is expected behavior that the dragon is attacking without even seeing the player and through block or if this is a bug. (the difficulty is Normal)
Tested in 1.0.4.0 with Easy difficulty.
The dragon does 'track' the player if within the vicinity of the island itself, but not if the spawn platform is far away from the island.
I don't know if raising the difficulty alters this behaviour though.
