The textures for a good part of the game is missing when i join the Realm i typically play on, instead of the what would be Dirt/Grass/Wood. it would be replaced with the default "Missing Textures" of a Checkerboard pattern of Neon Pink and Black.

does the realm have a texture pack installed
Could you confirm whether the Realm has a pack applied, and whether you have been able to download it successfully? The Realm owner may need to reapply the pack, or you may need to delete your cached packs from Settings→Storage. This should resolve the issue with the pink and black chequerboard missing textures.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.
