Is the slab you are trying to place, the same type of slab you are clicking on? And does it not place, when the slab fills the 1 same block (1/2 slab + 1/2 slab, like ground level), or when you place it to form a 'new block'

MCPE-44780It's the same type of slab. If you merge this bug with
MCPE-44780, then add that the problem is also with snow layers.
