We purchased Minecraft from the App Store on 24/10/19. Son has played it without a hitch until yesterday. Now when tapped on, app shows Mojang screen, then blank white screen, then closes down itself. Help please. We have followed usual protocol of deleting and re-downloading, signing in and out of App Store account etc. No issues with IPad or wifi. Have a crying 7yr old boy now......ðŸ˜ðŸ˜±

Same here, lot’s of people with same problem after the 1.13 update. It really sucks.

ipad 2 iOS 9
Same issue after upgrade. IOS 9.3.6 on IPad 3. Problem persists also after reset of all settings on IPad, reinstall, of app, etc.
After complete reset of iPad and app version back to 1.12 all works as before.
My sisters IPad is the same too.
We updated it today for the 1.13 and after that it would show the start up Morgang logo then white then crach like kicking out of game crash.
my sisters ipad is a ipad 3 I think? also cant update to IOS 11

Same here. iPad 2, IOS 9.3.5. Running Minecraft fine until the 1.13 update. Now shows the logo for a second, white screen for 5 secs, then closes.
Daughter is very sad....
Grandkids very upset. Since the last update on iPad 2, Minecraft is not working. I paid for this app and would like it to work on my devices for them when they visit. Please release a fix. All we get is the white Mojave screen and then app closes up.
IOS 9.3.6 same issue. App will not load beyond white loading Mojang screen since update.
Oh wow. I'm seeing a pattern here. It seems that all of you have reported using iOS version 9-9.3.6, as well as using older iPads. I think the solution for now would be to get some of the new iPads and update to iOS 11 or higher, or you can buy Minecraft on a different platform.
I'm having the same issue...and same meltdown of a 9 year old child. Please fix this!!
@Javi, yes I’m seeing the pattern too but everything worked just fine before the update. I think Mojang should come with a solution here, for now I have the idea nothing is happening.
I have the same problem here with two of my kids iPads
One running iOS 10.3.4 on iPad 4
One running iOS 12.4.3 on iPad Air
Both broken after installing update 1.13 on the 29th of October.
Considering refunds for both app purchases at the moment.
Compatibility states iOS 8.0 or later, this doesn’t appear to be the case at the moment as it works on my sons brand new iPad on iOS 13.2
So also problems with the newer ipads I see.
@Alex, who will you contact for refund? The most frustrating is that we hear nothing from Mojang.
Also affects iPad mini (5th generation) running iOS 13.2.

Yeah, I know the iPad is older, but if this wasn't compatible, wish they would have blocked the device from accepting the install.
@Jubelien I think it’s done through the App Store, I don’t know tbh, but they only recently bought it.
It’s frustrating because they know I work in I.T. and there isn’t anything I can’t fix usually, so they are nagging me hard to sort this for them lol
