My friend recently brought one of his worlds into realms and he invited myself and a couple of other friends to be members on it, he gave us all privileges how ever in game I am still unable to mine or place blocks. We troubleshooted for a while, removing me as a member and readding me, removing my account and redownloading it onto my xbox but still no luck. My other friends all have privileges and are able to play fine despite the fact my friend invited me the same way he invited them. Ive troubleshooted with both microsoft and mojang how ever nothing has worked. I also tried another one of my accoumts but this didnt work either.

me and my friends are having the same problem. i hope this is xbox one
In the end we just set the world back to its most recent back up and then when we went to start up the world again and this allowed the host to edit options we couldnt before and the host set the default permission to member instead of visitor and it worked!
