I first noticed the bug after transporting a camel several thousand blocks. Got it to our base and then got kicked. I relogged and I had been moved back, the camel was gone (though it may have just wandered away from where we got moved to), and all items I had gathered since that point had gone back to the chest that they were in. I thought it was a one off thing until my friends and I were on and got kicked again. The same thing happened to all of us. It has happened several times. I have even noticed that a player doesn't have to be online for it to happen. Logged on this morning and noticed that several items in my inventory were gone.
Next time it happens I will get a screenshot

Same thing happened to me. THREE TIMES. :/
Hello! Same thing just happened on my realm with 3 players on, rolled back 3 past midnight to the most recent backup from 15 minutes prior
I have had this issue three times in the last two weeks on my Realm, where several hours of progress is lost. It has affected different players, sometimes when only one person is on and sometimes when several are on.
Just fyi that your ticket will likely be closed, I had a similar issue, but my ticket was closed and linked here, maybe if we can get some traction on this issue Minecraft will finally address it after 3 years:
