Peaceful?
Check if the world difficulty is on peaceful. If not, then Idk what is wrong
As far as I'm aware, there's also an option to disable mob spawning in the realms settings. Please check whether that's enabled or not.
Also check /gamerule doMobSpawning.
Not Peaceful just added a screenshot of settings
