I accidently hit my wolf when we were out exploring. I killed some animals from my farm to heal him. When I gave him the food he ate the food, but his health did not rise. His tail did not go up and heart animations did not appear.
I am now a Nokia Lumia 521, since there was not a option for my device

Are you on peaceful difficulty? If then that is why you can not spawn hostile mobs
