With most blocks that can hold NBT data, like chests and furnaces, if you hold control (on windows) and middle click, the block will appear in your inventory keeping its NBT data. However, in 1.13 and after, this does not work with command blocks and noteblocks. This is annoying, because it is easier to copy noteblocks than to right click a lot
Steps to Recreate:
1) Place noteblock or command block
2) Right click noteblock a few times or write in cmd block
3) Hold control and middle click
4) The data will not copy
