Ok, thank you for replying. I uninstalled all the mods and the problem is still there. Also barrel orientation doesn't actually matter.

In fact the version I'm playing is 1.19.2, but I can only choose 1.19.3 for some reason. And also I'm using a mod that doubles the storage of a shulker box if that also matters.
