I'm experiencing this issue on PS5 as well. The tearing and jittering are continuous while playing the game, very visible, and quite distracting. My TV is an LG 55UF772V-ZP, has 4K with no HDR (but deep color). Unfortunately, there is no option to enable vsync on my TV. I haven't experienced tearing in any other PS4 or PS5 running on the PS5.
Can confirm that, after loading the game, the campsite level doesn’t show issues. Loading a level after that, breaks the visuals for the rest of the game, including the campsite.
I’m looking forward to playing the game with my son. Unfortunately, in its current state, it’s not a pleasant experience.

MCD-4773I just got updated to 1.12 and now the Mojang logo shows up during the game startup and have not experienced tearing yet. Is this bug now fixed?
Thanks Mojang for fixing the issue! I played yesterday with my son and we had a great time together. Works flawless now.
