Nope, no update. I ended up being able to play on my laptop because I hadn't tried to update it there yet. Much worse though. 12-inch screen vs. 21-inch haha
Please please help me figure out how to fix this. I even moved the minecraft folder from my (working) laptop to this computer but it still tries to bring in the runtime thing. This has been a major turn-off, especially considering this is my last weekend to play until real school work begins.
It says my duplicate of this is resolved but there's no answer to the bug here? I've had no comments or support, just Mods changing the status or placement of the bug report. I can't exactly do much on Minecraft until I get some sort of answer on it. "We'll be fixing it soon" or "Just change this file in your computer and you'll be all set"
Hey Alexis, I figured out how to fix it. It's not a Mojang bug (well, maybe it is, but) I just disabled my Antivirus software (for me it being Avast Mac) and downloaded it and it downloaded immediately.
