It all started when I couldn't connect to servers and realms but I found out how to fix it, but now Minecraft is taking way too long to start up, it takes about 5 minutes to fully launch, and then the Mojang screen sits there for about 10 minutes. What happened?
Update: When I try to load servers or even my own/other's worlds, my game freezes and crashes the entire system. The new update basically un-patched 1.16.2 and 1.16.4.

Minecraft is taking too long to launch on Nintendo Switch and I can barely play due to constant freezing/crashing.
I got invited by a friend to join their world and when I accepted, it didn't load.
My inputs were a mess. Left/Right move controls were reversed, couldn't crouch, couldn't open the chat, the inventory, emotes, or the menu. Mojang, please look at this report. This has been happening for a week and it's still happening. I can't even join my friends on the Switch anymore.
I have been having this problem for that last week and I can't even connect with my friends on the Switch anymore. It's that bad and REALLY needs an update before I go insane.

I can't even play the game anymore. Nothing works now. My game freezes and/or crashes when trying to load a realm, server, a friend's world, and even my own worlds. This even affects my worlds while offline. And if it does work, it takes forever to load.
@Troy F Mine is getting worse too. The red screen won't even load anymore...
They might be outdated.
For me, it either shows a Steve skin or a blank white skin.
Someone please look at this, this has been happening for a while.

The workaround works, I also got the stuff connected to my Microsoft account back. It will only keep skins though, all the world templates are gone. The settings will also reset.
I don't think that's a bug, I think it's a feature in peaceful mode.
You should see how it is on the switch edition, even with the data deleted, it's still a fricking nightmare.
This isn't an added feature, that's why it's not working.
You have to delete all of your data in the game for it to be fast. Just make sure you back it up first.
There's nothing Mojang can do, it wasn't a bug.

It's been happening for me too, especially in the marketplace. It happens WAAAAY too often in there.
They still can't do anything.
This is a server issue, not a game issue.
No, that's the Steve with a blue shirt, not yellow.
Can confirm, this also happens with skins from the marketplace sometimes.

You have to make sure you back all of that up to the cloud save data and then delete the Minecraft data on your switch, not the could. It loads depending on the space in your switch now for some odd reason.
