Just did the 2nd half of the aquatic update. When I went to load my world's I noticed my big world with a ton of work was renamed/deleted. Can this be fixed???? The world that's highlighted in my picture was never there before, and my big world over 700mbs is gone. ????
EDIT** I JUST INSTALLED THE NEWEST UPDATE 1.5.3 AND LOADED THE WORD THAT WAS MESSED UP AND IT IS NOW RESTORED PROPERLY!!!! EVERYTHING HAS COME BACK!!! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH MOJANG! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
We literally just went into the nether a few days ago. Searched the fortress, found where wither skeletons keep spawning, and got 3 wither heads in like 20 mins or less. Then spawned and killed the wither. Xbox One X. They definitely spawn. Just gotta find them.
Crafting table, add paper. Place map in middle, paper all around it. Repeat. Until it says level 3/4. Not a bug.
Not a converted world. Also, this is the 4th end portal that has failed now. 2 different survival world's. It's ridiculous this would be a bug for this long.
I can give you that. But first I wanna say I know what the issue is. Placing blocks inside the end portal frame breaks it. I've been to 4 strongholds and everytime I like to place a block in the frame and stand in the middle when placing the eyes. Well that's why all 4 didn't activate. This can easily be tested by going into creative and building and end portal. Place a block in the middle and stand on it to place the eyes. It will not activate. Build another portal do not place a block inside it, place the eyes and it lights. I've tested this many different ways now and the results are always the same. I've never experienced this before. I came from the PlayStation version of Minecraft where standing inside the portal was never an issue. Now that I'm playing the bedrock version on Xbox one x, it seems you can't place anything inside or it breaks. Not sure now if this is intended behavior or a bug.
Is this a bug or intended? And is a fix in the works if it is a bug? Also, if it's a bug and gets fixed, will my 4 strongholds that are useless at this point become activated or remain useless and leave me to find a 5th?

Anyboby know if this can be fixed??? Sooooo much work we did in our world...it pains me to think start over
Our world was around 770-780mb. We started it on the Xbox One X. It was a brand new world we had started on a new console, but put tons of days into it trying to get somewhere. Gone now...not cool.
Time to invest in a Seagate external hard drive. I can't trust this anymore. Not gonna lose my stuff anymore.
Can't you just restore your game saves from it tho?

My world says 0.1mb. It use to be almost 800mb. Doesn't seem like there's any data left

Did you delrdethe world when it was all messed up? If so, I think you're screwed.

They don't reappear...if you deleted the file I think your out of luck. I didn't delete mine. Although it was messed up I just clicked on it and it loaded everything perfectly again. Now it's back to normal.
