The lower case " i " in custom resource packs is displayed strangely, which makes chat, item names, ect. be hard to understand. In 1.11.2, this font works, problem free.

Minecrafthates newJava?Minecraft compatibility with Java?
As soon as the Mojang symbol disappears and the menu appears, the game crashes. Java Platform SE Binary has stopped working is the message I get after each crash. Sometimes, I can get past the menu and play for about 20 minutes, but then it crashes and I get that same message. I am using unmodified, resource pack free, minecraft 1.12 on a Windows 10 Dell computer with all my video settings very low. I tried playing in vanilla 1.11.2 as well and got the same Java issue.
Is this Java's problem or a problem with minecraft being compatible with the new Java update required to play the game?As soon as the Mojang symbol disappears and the menu appears, the game crashes. Just did a fresh install on a new laptop and it wont even let me start to download any version

But it is not modified. There are no mods. Its a texture pack with armor stand statues...
Oh well it works just fine without the dot from the "j" in previous versions. Did the format for the text texture change?
I included the crash log. The post this is listed as a duplicate for was dismissed because it did not include that.
It worked fine the second time I executed the command.
The first command was my first time loading in a custom head in that world, if that is something that possibly contributed to the world crashing.
Unfortunately, there was no crash report I could find with that date. It hasn't happened since so maybe it was just a one time thing.
