I'm running osx mavericks on a mac and java 1.6.0
it still has not been fixed as of 1.8.1 and it is very annoying. if i put coal in a mine cart with a furnace (Powered Minecart) it is supposed to keep on going but in 1.8 i noticed it slowed down to a halt whenever it drove over a curved rail

Sometimes when the chunks reload and mobs that are in a fenced off animal pen and pushing each other towards a fence or a wall they will get pushed through

When playing Minecraft on mobile with the control schemes the feature tap to interact, the Touch Circle appears excessively and when it shouldn't.
The Touch circle is that circle that appears when you press and hold to break blocks in creative and survival. In survival it fills up as you press and hold and until the block breaks.
The annoying Touch Circle will appear when you break blocks as it should, but it ALSO appears when you tap to open doors, press buttons, open chests, attack mobs, etc. and most nonsensically, when you drag your finger across the screen to just casually look around. On some smaller devices the Circle would be HUGE, and completely in the way of what you're trying to do. Before "RenderDragon" was added I used shader packs to enhance the lighting in game, and Most importantly, to HIDE the darn Touch circle, but of course the rendering engine just had to be replaced, and it BROKE everything, with no updates in sight for said shaderpacks.
I've been playing MCPE since Alpha 0.8.1. (For almost 10 years now) In that version, The Touch circle would ONLY appear SPECIFICALLY when breaking blocks. It WOULD NOT appear when looking around, tapping doors and attacking mobs (creative and survival).
Looking back, its no wonder the game's controls were more bearable when Quality control was better and the controls were more consistent in behavior back then. (Not saying the game is worse now. Minecraft is Amazingly feature packed these days, and is getting better with every update.
The Touch Circle should ONLY appear when you are breaking blocks, and should be DISABLED/Hidden when you are placing blocks, tapping to open doors, chests, pressing buttons, and attacking.
The new controls were an absolute Blessing. The game needed new controls for a while, and to see that they added new controls shows the devs care. They were slightly flawed at first, and had no Customization, until recently( which has HUGE potential BTW). One other benefit when they were first added, the Touch circle issue was FIXED for a few updates actually! (The game even has included video of this intentional behavior! Located in the "touch" Menu in the controls tab, where you can go in to select what type of control layout you want to use) It was functioning correctly like this until a certain 1.18.30 something?? update version where it started appearing at ALL times again like its doing now and before the new controls were added. I was quite upset to put it lightly.
A SOLUTION: IF this behavior is in fact intended, please ADD A TOGGLE to turn the touch circle off for individuals who feel they do not need it. If not PLEASE fix this as functional and enjoyable controls are very important for having fun in a Video Game.
HOW TO REPRODUCE
1) In Minecraft BE, Open SETTINGS>Controls>TOUCH>Change Control Mode>Then CHOOOSE either:
"Joystick & Tap to interact"
OR
"D-Pad & tap to interact"
SELECT.
2) Drag your finger across screen to look around, place and break some blocks, open doors chests ETC. Attack some mobs, and you will see the Touch circle appear EVERY time.
I will provide Images and video if possible

makes some sense if it was in real life, but in older versions of mine craft they did target each other
but this makes it very hard to get music discs, And on most mine craft reference websites it says that creepers aren't supposed to target skeletons
So passive mobs count too? I was always told that you could have a maximum of 70 hostile mobs only. The weird thing was is that hostile mobs were spawning in other places though. Probably where It was far enough away from the chickens. So I couldn’t have hit a global mob cap
I can confirm on PS4 and Mobile. You'd think they'd fix this ASAP. This is bad for sales.
Works as intended??? This has to be the most annoying thing about playing with touch controls, The selection circle is ONLY supposed to appear when breaking blocks. I know this because I've been playing since 0.8.1 in 2013 and that is how it would behave. Also in an older Pocket Edition Trailer, the touch circle Does NOT appear with EVERY touch input of the screen, it ONLY appears when the player is breaking a block, The whole purpose of something like this is to give the player an idea of the status of something they cant see on the screen because their finger blocking it (eg: a Block being broken). But with some update now it appears ALL THE TIME. I cannot be the only person who gets annoyed by this because we do not need a circle (which by the way aren't supposed to be in Minecraft) to tell us where we tap on the screen when we are just LOOKING around. There should at least be an option to turn this off in video settings.
I can agree, the Minecraft soundtrack sounds like junk on Bedrock compared to Java. It has hardly any Bass to it and is way too quiet.
This has been happening time and time again on my friend's world. It has never really happened on any of MY personal survival worlds that I don't have other players join as much. However, I notice it happens a lot If he's played in his world by himself for a few days without me, and then I rejoin. When I rejoin, I notice a whole bunch of Novice villagers and Nitwits and all the villagers I worked so hard on leveling up will NO LONGER RESTOCK WHATSOEVER.
Do you want me to attach files? I have evidence for this claim.
It appears this issue happens when you are using a custom resource pack. I usually always play with a custom resource pack running that only resource pack that changes some UI, but Does NOT change anything with mobs. I know its happening on my friends Realm. Tried turning off all Resource Packs, joining the realm, and they were visible again. Very strange as again, my pack does NOT retexture mobs
