I was placing down random plants when I noticed that placed plants kinda "drag" light to them. I mean drag because it takes the last(higher) light level and places it below itself.
How to recreate
1. Start creative
2. Place plants around shadows(edit): it happens in survival to with natural spawning flowers, not grass

I was exploring around when I noticed mobs like skeletons and zombies not burning.
1. Find/Spawn a zombie or skeleton
2. make sure its dayEdit: I think it was raining, but since it was a savanna, I couldn't see it.

Its not just on the top of the nether, Both kinds of mushroom can be found all through the nether. I have also found that there is more gravel than soul sand and that normal mobs like skeletons and creepers spawn aswell. I'm not sure if this is an error or not, but I have found baby pigmen. Ghasts bombs don't blow anything up and I have found a few normal ore like coal, iron, gold, and diamonds in the nether. I am seriously finding alot of errors.
(edit) Just now noticed that this was made back in 1.4 xD

Yes, just like that, but it happens with all plants, flowers, normal grass, wheat, everything. I also guess its alot like that, but its not just normal items I guess, so in this snapshot, alot of random incomplete blocks emit light?
Then maybe it was raining at the time, I was surrounded by alot of the savanna/desert, but that would mean a different bug
but yet again, even if its that, then it would be a duplicate.
