My son has created 3 characters in the past week under his account but somehow he keeps losing them and they end up on my older sons account under his saves. They share a ps4 but have different accounts and I cant understand how character saves are able to migrate to a different account. Its really discouraging and annoying to keep creating characters just to lose them.

Yes. Even with the update there is still an issue.
