Tried removing app and reloading
Tried hitting sign in with Microsoft account and it immediately crashes
Tried another device of same hardware, same issue
Both of my kids are unable to play now at least as of last updates.
I have a screenshot where the marketplace is throwing an error saying I am at risk of losing packs purchases on this device, and that I should sign in to avoid losing them, and have them transferred. The app crashes before I have the chance to sign in. Very frustrating.

Tried updating the iOS. No luck. Tried making sure there are no other packs or add ons. The app just crashes repeatedly and won’t allow sign ins.

I’ve tried my account, which is the parent Microsoft account, and my son’s which is a child account to it. I even went in and disabled any app restrictions, for fear that was messing it up. Still doesn’t work.

I really don't know what else to try. I've clicked to clear content history, and clear sign in history.. nothing works. No matter what, on this device, it will not let my son or anyone else – sign in. I could sign in as my son on my iphone's Minecraft PE, and again it crashed out there too.
Minecraft is really big with our family but I'm about ready to give it up. We aren't having as much luck lately as we are having glitches/pains, and that's hard to admit. Please help.

Minecraft for iPad Mini crashes out upon login [assign me to MCPE???]
Insane. How am I supposed to switch it to the right project? You don't give us that ability. wtaf.
Fyi—I was told to enter a bug by support, so I did. But I had no idea what to pick, so I picked the wrong project. Then I re-entered it, because I was told to. Now I’m told I should have searched first. You know what... I spent +4 hours on a Sunday afternoon trying to fix this game for my kids by myself. I’m sorry I didn’t have enough time to “search.”
Apparently they don't care.
My kids both have iPad Mini 2 models, and both versions have been glitchy, my son's won't allow me to log in as him. Every single time we try to log in with his MS account, it crashes immediately and goes back to home screen. I created a ticket under Web-1535, I am at my wits end with all of this.
Can I ask... is it happening right after a microsoft account login, for all of you folks?... what happens if you start up the app without any web connectivity (turn off wifi)? I was able to get it to stay alive long enough to tap around, but as soon as it tries to make calls "out" for signin purposes, then it crashes hard. Every time.
Yep, it’s an ugly bug. My son has lost many of his worlds now. I spent all afternoon trying to fix this game.
I created https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-55730
They are going to make you switch it to a different project... :/ They just marked mine under this "invalid" because I didn't know to select bedrock code base when I created the ticket. [sigh]
My kids iPads did the same things. My son has now lost all his worlds because I tried to remove entirely and reload. He still can’t get in. Has every possible update, but the app crashes in seconds. Especially when hitting sign in with Microsoft account.
[shrugs]Even my iPhone 6s with iOS 13.1.3 crashes on my son’s signin, within seconds on this Minecraft Version. [shrugs]
The place where all the comments/reports are piling up is actually here:
https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-54465
It’s hard to underscore the frustration level as a parent, but it really would be a classy move on Mojang’s part if they would recognize everyone who took the time to report the bug, provide versions and descriptions and etc... and simply provided some sort of olive branch (store coins?) for how disruptive this issue has been, compounded by little to no communication.
Hey Tan May—the update works on Switch, but you have to pay for Nintendo online services if you’re going to want cross platform play and whatever. I discovered I couldn’t play between an original switch and a lite, on the downloaded copies. It was a mess. So I made them refund my downloaded copy and I bought two physical copies. Now, eventually, my kids will be able to play with each other (on LAN only because I’m not paying for Nintendo subscription two times over on top of two game copies)... 🤷🏻♂️
My daughter’s iPad mini 2 works after this 1.13.2 update. My son’s (same hardware) crashed out about 3 times after update, but then gave a screen to transfer purchases to his Ms live account. I chose yes, and for the first time that worked (thank you!). Then the app started working well again.
...Spoke too soon. After less than 5 minutes, both children screamed because it kicked them out of their worlds with a hard crash to the Apple home screens. ..[deep sigh].. it has now kicked them out multiple times and they are likely to try a different game now. I am about to give up.
My son was excited to try Minecraft again. We open the app and it crashes after less than a minute. Crazy.
