I was in the nether and I somehow walked into a 1 block tall space and suffocated for a bit.
It seemed like (in the nether) the player's hitbox only covers the player's legs.
I have a video file that might help things, but it was too big, so I have a google drive link:

I hope this help

Update: I've found that it happens in the overworld and the nether (not sure about the end).
But I have found a way to activate it purposefully.
1) Be on a world in survival for more then 30 mins (I do alot of projects on my survival world).
2) Find a flat wall more then 2 blocks and stand infront of it.
3) Place a block infront of you (it might not work, if it doesn't just stay on the world for longer).
4) And continuously right click, and you may have an x-ray glitch. But if you can place a block on your head, then you should be able to walk through 1 block gaps.
I'm not sure about multiplayer and I'm not sure if lag helps, but I'll update this issue if anything else happens.

(it also helps if you have an elytra)

I'm not sure if everyone else is experience this.
When I load resource packs onto worlds, sometimes the textures don't get updated (chunk bounds texture pack doesn't work but worked in previous versions).
I don't know if this is a bug, or Minecraft files have been named differently in this version.
Edit: I tried every resource pack I had and none of them worked, even if I re-downloaded them. And they definitely worked in previous updates, so all I'm asking is if file names have been changed in 1.16.201. If I contact the creator, they'll be confused why it isn't working for them!
Minecraft resource packs not loading
I was loading up some random seeds to find a good one for a new survival world. But one came up that confused me.
My PC takes a while to load world, so if I'm already in a world all that I can see is the loading screen. And as soon as the loading screen finished, it said I drowned. Because my spawnpoint is directly at the bottom of a river. The seed is -447532686.
It may not work for others, but for people who are running on low-end devices, I see this as a problem!
Hope it helps
Edit: I've found another seed with this problem. Just mabye make it so players don't spawn in water. 533349607

Edit#2: The bug still works on 1.17.2, but you have time to get to the surface for air before you drown.

I wasn't aware that I could only have 1 bug per report, I'm new to reporting bugs so I wasn't aware. Sorry
it isn't a bug, if you put an item in a shulker box, then it stays in the shulker box. When you burn a shulker box, all of the contents don't fly out then burn, they stay inside of the shulker box. Not a bug, just an annoying thing!
Ah, thank you! How did you get yours to work?
Sorry, I can't edit it but one of the bugs is that, when falling onto scaffolding and holding space you rise but I don't take fall damage until I stop holding space bar then I take the fall damage.
How you re-create it:
1) Have 2 columns of scaffolding (one taller then the other) and stand on the smaller one.
2) Walk off the small one into the tall one while holding space.
3) After a while, let go of space, then you will take fall damage.
There is another scaffolding glitch, but that is for another bug report.
But it isn't to do with the resource pack. Minecraft doesn't register that it is loaded. All that the game knows is that there are no resource packs, but I loaded all of them earlier!
Skajie, it doesn't always activate with an elytra, using and elytra is one of the ways to activate it. But sometimes it happens randomly!
I tried it on 1.17.2 on the same PC that I found the bug on.
Both the seeds still spawn you underwater.
There is an improvement though, the player doesn't start drowning until they are in the world, not while they're loading in. The bug still kinda exists but you get out of the water before you drown.
Can confirm in 1.18.1 (I only checked villagers and players with and without armour, but I'm sure it works with the other mobs too).
