Na man this is a huge problem, it makes the nether reactor completely not worth it and lame. I spent a week and a half gathering the gold and now it's all gone just like that? I was so excited until that happened. Now the update just seem here nor there, please make the reactor a reusable machine. Kinda pointless to even bother with if you don't.
A way to get around this is place a block here and there around and on anything you want to save before you save. Seems like the game doesn't save anything unless it sees you working there.
Probably because you just put one block, you must put blocks here and there everywhere you are trying to save, trust me it works you just have to put enough
That's why, you need to put a block here and there all around and through the area you want to save, it will save, it's annoying though and of course you'll have to remove all the blocks
I've only done it my self, recently I've only been playing with one other person, also if you want to save the entire world you have to put blocks here and there everywhere

I'm not saying its a bug, I'm simply saying it should be changed. And I'm sure many agree w me.

I've experienced the same thing btw. Lost three gold blocks and a buncha ore
One thing I just found out is that it only works with fancy graphics off
And yes it actually is useful, but it would be crazy if it showed where diamond and gold were lol
