I was breaking a block when I noticed that for a second I couldn't move the screen around causing me to break more blocks than I intended to. It happens in both game modes, survival and creative. I am playing on the Kindle Fire HDX. Not the HD.

When a ore is mined or any other time items are dropped some disappear before others. Take the example of carrots. I harvested carrots and carrots were dropped to the ground. Maybe one or two disappeared from the whole bunch before I could collect it. They shouldn't be disappearing this soon.
I can confirm about the lagging. It definitely isn't about the video settings. The settings are just the same as it was before the update. Can't confirm anything else because the lagging is causing me not to be able to play.
I can confirm for 1.8 as I can barely play with the low frame rate. My video settings are just the same as it was before the update and my computer is not old or bad in any way.
