I got this to happen and it wasn't playing anything. I had just applied an animated texture (two frames) and broke the jukebox I had just placed to trigger the glitch. It took out some quartz, emerald, anvils, a crafting table, redstone blocks, and a command block when I reloaded the world.

Kyle is correct. BUT, the pastebin thing is slightly wrong.
Where it says "en_KS" and "en_US", you need to put "en_KS.lang" and ""en_US.lang" respectively.
If you leave the file types off, you can select your custom pack in-game but it will default to 'English'.
Kumasasa, this DOES stay if you revert to a previous snapshot. I went back to 14w08a and it was still there.
