It doesn't require you to actually "build" a nether portal to achieve "We Need To go Deeper"It doesn't require you to actually "build" a nether portal to activate "We Need To go Deeper" advancement
You don't need to build a Nether portal from scratch to activate the "We Need to Go Deeper" advancement, despite description mentioning it
The bug
"We Need to Go Deeper" description reads: "Build, light and enter a Nether Portal". You don't need to do any of these things, as the advancement is granted by simply teleporting into the Nether, either via commands or by using a pre-existing Nether portal.
To reproduce
- /execute in minecraft:the_nether run tp 0 129 0
Observed result
The advancement is granted, despite the description.
Expected result
The advancement granting would be consistent with the description; either the advancement would not be granted or the description would be changed to reflect the actual conditions of the advancement to be granted, e.g. "Enter the Nether".
Original description
When I finished building a nether portal on top of a ruined portal and entered it, I still activated the advancement "We Need To Go Deeper" even though the in-game description clearly said that you have to "build" the nether portal yourself. Attaching photos doesn't really prove anything, so I won't attach any.

Note: Please ignore the "sneaking" in the second photo, for in mac you have to press shift to take a screenshot.
