If you drop items in a hopper which is filled with the renamed item you throw in, it wont stack and the item doesn't fall in the hopper.

Only if all the slots of the hopper all filled with the named item.
Double clicking on a item doesn't auto-stack the items in creative mode, but it still works in survival mode.

Kumasasa i forgot to mention that it happend only if all the slots were filled with the named item
I reinstalled minecraft and now it's fixed. Must have been a glitch of some sort.
Anyway how do i delete this post?

MC-13731. Please use the search function to see if your bug has already been submitted.Nobel Harvards, it IS a bug because you dont even get a copy if you do this, you only get the same map back and lose 8 paper.
Cube, i was aware of it but he said this wasn't a bug.
I just told he was thinking of a differend crafting recipe by proving him wrong.
