When Cobblestone Slabs are stacked, the texture is lighter than a normal Cobblestone Slab in the upper position. If Double Cobblestone Slab is broken and a normal Cobblestone Slab is places in the upper position, it will keep this lighter texture.
Also, noticing if a Cobblestone is removed and replaced, it takes on this lighter texture. If a block is place atop the darker Cobblestone Slabs, it will change the lower one from darker to lighter.
If you have the gamerule dofiretick as false and set and Upper Half Slab on fire, the fire does not render, however the ash particles will and it will emit light. When a player comes in contact with this invisible fire, they will catch fire.
To Recreate
1) Place Half Slab (of any type) to the Upper position.
2) Light on fire with Flint and Steel,
3) Have yourself or a player come in contact with the block.See Attached photos for examples for no
tflames and only ash, and myself set aflame contemplating my decisions.NOTE
This happens on Realms and Single-player worlds. In the meantime, I promise not to have too much fun with this...

Firstly, thank you for your reply.
We're about 2GB, seasoned world for sure. Uploaded to my Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B0ZU_lKDZa09bHdpUzVOZXVEaVk
This is a snapshot from either yesterday or the day previous.
Additional troubleshooting, I have disabled every command block within the world (enabled in the download) and the problems still persist on the realm, location is 10000 251 10000 if you want to check those out.
As for local host replication, I have been unable to reproduce the disconnects or the lag experienced on my XBox. We were going to attempt to upload onto another realm to see if it maybe the hardware within the virtual server host our realm sits in not scaling as it should, all in hopes to see it if is a hardware issue or world issue. Connection wise, all our members are within the US or Canada, one South America.
Again, thank you for your time and efforts. I will do my best to provide you with any information needed to help resolve the issue and help determine the problem.
This is from my Minecraft Forum post if it helps:
What we can determine so far:
Realm Back-up on Single Player
I want to update.
I disabled the system at 10000 251 10000 marked Detect by Spawn and it seems to have resolved the Portal Crashes. Wouldn't call it fully resolved, I had 3 Admins go through the Portal at the same time, with 2 others online, we still had a Realm-wide Disconnect, had to Close Realm and Open Realm to get people back on again.
[Edit] - Had a 4-5 second freeze when someone went through a portal into an unloaded area. Had 4 people on at that time, one at spawn, two in the End and one coming out of the Nether into the Overworld. Logged a 4-5 second lag on mobs/chat/chests/etc.
Any chance we looked at the world save?
We are still having the issue, but it isn't as bad.
Does it have to do with world size?
I have submitted a ticket for this issue via this process and I just got a blanket response that made no attempt to resolution beyond just going to the next e-mail.

Hi David,
I am sorry to hear about your problem.
There are a few things you can try to fix this issue:
If you are the owner of the realm, please try the below suggestions. If you are not the owner, please contact the owner and ask the to try the following:
If you are experiencing lag spikes specifically when opening your inventory, please visit the existing bug description at https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-41772
Please reply to this message in the above doesn't solve your issue, and provide your Xbox gamertag, the name of the realm and a screen capture of your purchase.
Best regards,
Mojang Support
I'll see where it goes, I swore I replied to that back on April 1st, but I didn't see it in my sent folder. I sent a reply yesterday, so we'll see where it goes. Thank you!
Submitted, I also mentioned it on a previous form that we were talking to the other day on another bug report. I hope we get to look at it soon, it'll be nice to see what can be learned from it.
Thanks for the reply, look forward to more discussions in the future.
