This might be the same issue as the falling sand on snow, but I don't know.
My setup was like this, with - being the slab and | being my solid block (in my case, stone).
-|
And then I put a piece of gravel on the top (G for Gravel)
G|

And it fell like it should, but suddenly disappeared when it reached the slab.
The device is a Acer Iconia Tab A200.This might be the same issue as the falling sand on snow, but I don't know.
I put a piece of gravel on the side of a 3-block tall tower with a slab on the bottom.

I will get a screenshot A.S.A.P.

Keys can sometimes get stuck if clicking while pressing a key (e.g. going forward then left clicking while going forward). This happened on 1.5.1 as well, but I also found it on the April Fools 2.0. I also noticed the actual Ubuntu cursor flickering...could be a bug.
Thank you. I did not know if this would be a duplicate at all.
I'm going to attempt to remove this, if possible, seeing as it is a duplicate.
Works on Acer Iconia Tab A200 as well.
Same issue. It takes me a long time for a map to load, and usually I get the same kick. It also takes a while for chat to load.
edit
This issue was in 1.5.1, so there could be something with that. And, the servers I was playing on are updated to 1.5.1.
Ahem. It was on 1.5.1, and the person in the post said "1.4" as the last version. 1.5.1 is different.
Did you try double-clicking the jar? (Make sure you open it in your Kubuntu java thing, probably OpenJDK, not your KDE archive manager thing)
Jacob, if this isn't a bug...
why does it happens only in Minecraft Pocket Edition, and not in Minecraft for PC?
Luis, he's probably just speaking another language...damn.
