This is an old thread for iOS and on Windows 10 I never had this issue. The three main informations should be:

I have this problem since I’m playing on a realm. (I play on a realm since the first day of 0.16, so this could be not relevant)
The report you linked is from Februray 2015. For all the time, I play the Windows 10 Edition (Since release on July 29, 2015) and never had this issue. This is the reason I thought it was worth it, to open a new report.
I have also a problem with rabbits. My farm is next to a desert and I have desert rabbits all over the place. I turn around, there are new ones. I go away and come back, doubled the amount of rabbits. I killed over 1,000 rabbits in the last 5 days and they never stop to spawn.
The biggest Problem with this is, that they overload the chunk and all passive mobs disappear, when I walk away for a while. That’s not what I would expect from a farm.
@MCPE Mod I don’t know. I play on Windows 10 and there is 0.16.2 the newest version available. Is there any way to get access to the 1.0 beta on Windows 10? And can I still use my realm, when I’m on an unofficial version?
Added some pictures, that reflect my statements maybe a bit better. On one image you see, that the tower from the first screenshot loses his glass panes really fast.
All the thing that are fade out or disappear completely are quite near an were visible in 0.16 and previous versions
Status update: Since I updated to 1.0 none of my animals despawned. Even if I were many chunks away (150-200) nothing happened and my complete farm were intact.
Ok. After the update to 1.0.2 my cows disappeared. Other animals are not affected, as far as I can see (simply too many), but my cows disappeared completely. This time I never was far away, just played a long time some chunks away, where new animals spawned.
Any updates, when this will be fixed? It’s pretty annoying :\
Same for me. But I had Sound in 1.0.4. It disappeared in 1.0.5 for me (Windows 10 Edition). I play only single player, so it’s no server related problem here.
That makes it unplayable for me.

Can confirm this. Tested it in a new world multiple times in Creative and Survival Mode and it happens all the time.
