I can conform this on my kindle fire and while trying to join someone elses
Can confirm in 13w09c
In at least 5 snapshots(pictures) the light comes from above, below, or both. in mine craft and real life the thickness is the same verticly and that means that no extra light should come through (see attached snapshot)

It has not made a crash report. It just closed the window and kept open the developer console and just said this

I do not know If I can replicate the server-client lag glitch but If I can than I will update the versions.
