This bug is only probably for me, but for some reason, my mobs don't appear. Not from /summon and not from spawn eggs. Naturally I have seen a couple, but then I rebooted my game and couldn't find any more natural spawns. I think it has a feeling with a texture file in my .minecraft folder I don't have. I have tried refreshing Minecraft, creating a new world and also using the Repair function in the Minecraft Installer, but none of that works.
EDIT: Just saw the reports that it should fix if I crank up my render distance (and it does fix), but those bugs say resolved, any my mobs still aren't showing up.
can confirm also affects current education edition. not sure if that's relevant for this bug but just a note
