If you can get a nausea potion (by TMI or any editor) and you drink milk while the effect is active, it will stop the effect but show a portal tint.

2: Trip out
3: drink milk
4: nether portal effects?You can get the potion using Too many items which is available in snapshot versions as well
this is an intended thing. imagine a cart full of explosives derails.. Run for your life.

you can make a nausea potion.
the thing about the nausea potion is that it makes your screen wobble around but doesnt show the nether potal tint as if you were in a nether portal..
so the bug is that when you drink milk it does get rid of the effect but your view looks like you're in the nether portal for like .5 seconds
yes the nausea EFFECT IS in the game. you can get it how ever you like..
dinnerbone made this happen for map makers.
so the Nausea potion is in the game and it works and this is a visual bug thats been here since 1.4.2
