Issue when installing Minecraft
When installing Minecraft, there is an error saying "installation must be on a local hard drive." This occurs with other .msi installers in Windows 10.
It can be fixed by using msiexec /i in command prompt. But, using msiexec /i causes issues in the installation, leading to errors when launching Minecraft. The normal "An unexpected error has occurred..." screen shows up. No errors in the logs, and there is no fix.
Note: First time writing a bug report on here, please give me suggestions of anything else to add/change. Thanks!

It's been reported as an error here on a post on the Minecraft reddit. Dinnerbone is asking for help testing the new launcher, and someone points out this issue. They were able to use msiexec /i without any issues.

One fix (not ideal): Open command prompt as an administrator. Use the command msiexec /i "(minecraft installer location, e.g. C:\Users(your user)\Downloads\Minecraft Installer)". Run through the installation like normal. Download the legacy launcher here (second option) and use that to run Minecraft.

Pretty sure the attachment "cam-20180101-150312.log" is irrelevant. If you think so, could you please remove it?
Also, would be cool if there was some way to PM or report something to mods. I know you guys didn't code the site, but maybe there's some way. Thanks!

This is so annoying that I can't reply to your comment. Oh well.
I was told by the #minecraft-help IRC that using msiexec /i was the issue. If that's not it, any other ideas?

If you know the fix maybe you could just help me out?
Just link me a fix or something.
