So I'm setting a block in the air, but when I break it - if there is no block connected to it then it turns into a ghost block. The texture stays, but the bounding box has gone and F3 shows nothing.
Relogging gets rid of it.
If you place blocks next to it, it kind of works like a chain - the last block in the chain to be removed does the ghosting.
Theres no way of actually removing it, without relogging.
How to duplicate:
Run /setblock ~ 64 ~ stone
and built off it with blocks, then break the blocks and the last one will ghostNot 100% chance, but happens a lot of the time. I'd say 85%
As the picture shows, the end generation in the Debug world seems to be every other chunk.
Used night vision to help see a little bit, sorry not that clear.

Also, http://prntscr.com/3wcqi4
They are hovering (no obsidian towers etc)

Also when you break the beacon thingy, you are left with a floating fire. Facing on the north side of where it was.
So yh. The end is broken in Debug world.
Confirmed.

Took a while, but I got a crash log. It's above for you.
I think this is intentional behaviour, I don't think your meant to be able to modify the world?
Not sure.
Cannot reproduce, sounds like it might be a rare client issue? Possibly derived from a keyboard issue or a software issue in which your computer is telling the game it's down when it's not.
Doesn't seem to be a game issue. (I'm on Mac as well, so I can assume it's not Mac)
What he said ^

MC-58898It's half a bug, half a suggestion.
It's a bug that setting Generate Strucutres to yes doesn't spawn them? but it's intentional that it shouldn't spawn them.
It's a bug that setting Bonus Chest to yes doesn't make a bonus chest? but again, I think it's intentional that a bonus chest shouldn't be added to the world.
Meaning it's a bug having the features there, thus should be removed.
MC-58923edit// Oop was beat, sorry.
MC-58898They updated that after I made this report. More precisely when they updated to 26b. I wrote this at 26a.
MC-58888DuplicatedHow so? Buttons in world generation that do nothing, deemed bug. They have the buttons changing for other world types? Seems like an oversight to me.
MC-58898Duplicate.I'm bewildered by the fact this has been set to "Wont Fix" why wont they fix it?
It's a bug which caused several thousand entities, the fact its been echoed by multiple people and effects several people makes me think its worth fixing?
They say they suggest using it, not that you have to use it.
Also if something is a possibility, then its a bug. They shouldn't rely on users changing their gamemode in response to a bug issue being reported by multiple people.
Whether you have to shift click to be able to access the world or not, it's still a feature which can be accessed by everyone. it shouldn't be a mandatory action to have to be in spectator mode. If it is, then it should be done by default and not yet another action in order to prevent bugs (of which this is a valid bug)
Not for me it aint? Note it doesn't work on all of them, only the end one it seems.
Could it not just prevent the piston instead of removing the block from existence?
Think my explanation was satisfactory, but here you go:

As good as I can get. But literally, find the golden plates the one on the far left, walk into it (or drop an entity on it like a mob with a spawn egg) and boom bada bing your game crashes or your stuck with 0fps due to several thousand entities.
That was my point ^^
Pretty sure it's a change, but might not be.
I know for a fact that if you try to push a block below Y level 0 it just doesn't work. Which i'd think would be the same for above 256.
Seems somewhat silly to have it for one but not the other etc etc but hey ho
Resolved due to the forced spectator mode.
I had this issue in 14w25 although it went for me so thought nothing off it.
seems to me like a region (being the crosshair) inverts the colours behind it
You can also just place the banner on a wall, and then place any block in the bottom of the banner. Ground wall banner.
I don't see how that's important? In previous versions you could make blocks completely transparent (similar to how barrier blocks are now) with a simple texture pack. Now, in this snapshot, you can not.
This might be due to the login servers currently being down.
It literally means what it says. Your computer or the server of which that message is being displayed in the console from is not capable of keeping up with the world.
Basically meaning that your world is trying to do something but your computer cant do it fast enough (hence the warning)
Generally speaking it'll just miss some ticks, redstone and other actions will occur slower
So... its just going to slow you down.
Login servers are down. http://xpaw.ru/mcstatus/ to see when they come back on.

Change your launcher settings to hide the console?
Don't look?
Get a better computer which can handle the strain that MC puts on it?
