I play with my keyboard and mouse connected to phone via hub and everything works fine except.
- i select the hotkey I wanted to change and when I press the extra button in my gaming mouse it doesn't register the button or clicking it? But I want to use my extra gaming mouse buttons as hotkeys please fix this
- I am using Razer cobra wired mice everything is clear in the video
- minecraft pe android phone

Sorry it was kind of hard for me to find the post so I made my own(more clarified)
Also My phone is Iqoo 11, 16gb ram 256 gb storage
LPDDR5X ram, UFS 4.0 storage, this have two processors snapdragon 8gen 2 and V2 chip
This is not resolved i don't know why mod marked it as resolved but the issue is still present without a doubt.
It also affects play store mcpe version 1.21.1 😭
To @CookieCft and others I found a work around for this issue, since I am using razer mice I can change mouse button functions in razer's mice customisation app. So, I assigned 2 of the keyboard buttons (eg:- 9 and 8) to each side buttons and now it registers as 9 and 8 for hotbar slot but technically now I am able to use both of the side mouse buttons. So I don't know how it is for Logitech and others check in YouTube how to assign keyboard keys to your specific mouse . Hopefully this helps . Doesn't mean that issue is completely resolved it is just a work around because it is supposed to work without all of these done.
