Can not verify. When accessing the new gui you got to select the item you want from the left side and it'll show you the recipe on the right. When you are sure you want it tap on the item underneath the crafting grid on the right and it should insert it into your inventory.
Is it stuck on "minecraft" Logo? not the main menu or loading a world? I have a LG G2 and it takes 6 seconds to load up the main menu. and about a good minute to load world.
The only other things I can think of is:
1) Clear RAM idk if all phones have that but my LG G2 has that gadget usually named task manager
2) Clear background running apps
3) Best bet. Reboot phone. (Turn off/on)
4) Or reinstall mcpe. But is risky as you would probably lose all downloaded TP and Addons if not saved anywhere else.
One of those things usually help. Mine is turning wifi/data off.
Are you using Classic or pocket gui? The pocket you got to tap/click on the item under neath the crafting grid to obtain your crafted item otherwise if its not red out that just shows you that you got the items to craft it.
Yes that happened to me on my big world too. What usually happens is that the beta comes it crashes and becomes unplayable. Then a couple of beta updates later it should be fixed with little lag and full release it fixes itself.
Shaders in 1.2? They haven't even come out yet. If it's leggy and you're using blocklauncher then that's why. The game doesn't currently support shaders.
I do apologize for duplicating this report Just delete or resolve two of them. The creation was bugging out like It wasn't being posted. But it is a bug in mcpe so keep one of them.

Verified. Music doesn't play on lg g2 either. Parrots dances to no music.
