Changed Description:
While trying to convert villagers into zombie villagers to recure them, they are killed instead of converted. I am playing on Easy.
Update: I changed the difficulty to Hard after finding an old post with the same issue, and the zombie is broken. He would not lose interest in me and ignored the villager completely. I even placed blocks so the zombie did not have a way to path to me and he still would not lose interest. So there seem to be more than one bug.

Do you mean just the Xbox settings, and is there anything you change?
Thank you! I did what you said, it froze my Xbox menus so restarted again and they finally appeared. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
After loading Minecraft and seeing the Realms were not showing, I pressed the Xbox button, scrolled down to Settings and selected Restart Console. Once the Xbox restarted I loaded Minecraft and the Realms were there.
Experienced the same bug again today except this time I cannot connect at all. I had another member log into the realm To see if it fixed it like last time, but it did not work this time. I had a second member login that was closer to where I had been in the realm when the bug occurred but this member also experienced the same bug stuck on building terrain and it would not load. The one member that was able to join would see our gamer tags in the sidebar showing the current players but never received a message saying that player had joined. Whenever I or the other player would close Minecraft after a few seconds it would then give a message saying player has left the realm.
I and another realm member are currently experiencing the same issue again. There doesn’t seem to be anyway for us to fix this issue. We get stuck on building terrain. We close Minecraft and reload and still the same thing. We’ve been waiting over 10 minutes for the chunk error to resolve itself but this time it’s taking a long time.
Almost an hour has passed and we are still unable to join. Another member joined and went to the area where we are stuck and could see us but could not hit us, and the chunk error was still visible.
Just now the world loaded in but I’m not sure if downloading the backup helped. I did not replace the realm world with the backup, just downloaded and tried loading into the copy. It loaded so I then attempted to load into the realm and would have replaced the world with the backup but since it loaded it was not necessary.
My friends and I have been experiencing the same thing, massive lag spikes and it’s making the game unplayable. Even in peaceful there are still major lag spikes, even worse in any of the other difficulties. Please fix the lag.
I am on xbox and it also occurs in local worlds.
